Fashion designer Jason Wu’s new limited edition line for Lancome is available exclusively at Nordstrom stores, with prices ranging from $15 to $49. Here’s what the designer and L’Oreal had to say about the partnership.

The compacts are sleek white, with a hint of pale gray. The lipstick resembles a sleek, silver bullet – with a cap that’s colored to match the compact’s pale finish.

Some of the makeup colors, especially in the eye shadow palettes, were inspired by ones used in Wu’s signature fashion line. One eye shadow, a blue-purple, in the eye palette called Violet Streak, was worn by models in Wu’s fall 2013 runway presentation – and compliments one of the designer’s blue dresses.

Other colors in the collection are more earthy tones. The collection also includes three different red lip colors, to compliment different skin tones.

Perhaps First Lady Michelle Obama is as much a fan of the new makeup line as she is of Wu’s gowns.
